The Forensic Identification Division is comprised of specially trained police officers and civilian staff who respond to crime scenes in order to forensically process them. This is accomplished in some cases by using sophisticated equipment and training to find, record, gather, analyze and evaluate physical evidence. This course provides an overview of this process and the role of forensics in policing.
