Course Overview



An elder abuse course is a training program designed to educate individuals about the prevention, identification, and response to elder abuse. The course provides information on the various forms of elder abuse, including physical, emotional, financial, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect and self-neglect. Participants learn about the risk factors, warning signs, and consequences of elder abuse, and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to intervene and support older adults who may be experiencing abuse.
